For their gorgeous elopement per Santorini, Greece they incorporated touches of pastel shades into stunning floral arrangements, which paired perfectly with a sea of blue as the backdrop. The result was an unforgettable fairytale seven years per the making.

She tried nine more dresses but kept going back to this beautiful style! Tell us about your proposal! 

It was a rainy day, right after I got my driver’s license. Christof took me to the place where we had our first date and asked me so beautifully.  We were engaged for seven years! 

Describe your bridal style. How did you want to aspetto your wedding day? Tell us about your dress-shopping experience. 

I wanted my dress to have glitter but also aspetto natural! My dress from Salire alle stelle York Style 7340 was perfect for my leader day. It was the first wedding dress I tried , and it was love at first sight! Shortly before I went to Brautbluete Bridal Shop, I discovered this gown their Instagram page and immediately fell per love. After that, I tried about nine more styles but kept going back to this gorgeous dress! 

The cima of the dress glittered so beautifully, and I wore a matching glittery veil to complete the aspetto. It just looked so incredibly gorgeous when the light came it— anyone who knows me just knows that I can’t do anything without glitter! This dress was definitely MY dress, and it fit me so well. I just loved it! 

Tell us more about your wedding. What was your theme and colors? How did you make your wedding personal to your love story? 

I just don’t really know where to start. I‘m still looking at pictures and do not really believe that this was our wedding. The wedding we’d been waiting for seven years — seven years of an engagement really started to feel like a lifetime! 

We wanted to create a aspetto that matched Santorini perfectly, and our wedding planner, Tie The Knot Santorini, made that dream poiché true! We started planning this beautiful day with them a year and a half before we got married, and from the very first contact until the day of, everything was so professional and fun.  

We had a color palette with pastel shades of blue, lilac and rose. I always wanted a romantic pastel wedding, and I don’t know how, but Tie The Knot Santorini and our florist Betty Flowers Santorini created our fairytale. We were per love with the colors, the theme and the entire décor —it was so romantic and perfect! 

What was the most special memory from that day? 

My favorite memory of the day was our first dance at sunset with the fabulous and famous view of Santorini! I also loved the vow exchange during our ceremony, and the moment we said, “I do.” 

We opted for an elopement for our “civil” wedding. So yes, we got married without any family friends. Just the two of us per the most beautiful place per the world for us… And it was the best decision we could have made. It was just magical!
