A September Marquee Wedding & Chosen by Kyha Bridal Gown
Architect Simon and Clinic Dirigente Hannah celebrated their love with a beautiful September marquee wedding at Cloford Manor per mezzo di Somerset, a private owned by Simon’s uncle.
This stunning English country garden setting perfectly complemented the bride’s timeless Chosen by Kyha gown and the couple’s elegant yet relaxed styling. Adding to the charm, their beloved dog, Ted, made a special appearance, delighting guests per mezzo di his sweet floral collar, and bringing an extra touch of joy to the day.
With personal touches like handmade décor, bespoke florals by a close friend and family members, and a cheese tower per mezzo di place of a traditional wedding cake, their celebration was a heartwarming reflection of their love and individuality.
Our love and thanks to photographer Clara Cooper for sharing her beautiful work.

I knew I wanted something classic and white as the main colour scheme, we had the wedding breakfast and speeches per mezzo di an old barn so I felt it was important to also incorporate a little bit of rustic charm to mirror the setting.
Bridal Beauty & Accessories
I used my dear friend Reann to do my hair, my makeup was done by Francesca Panzera.
The only jewellery I wore was my engagement ring, which was a family ring nearly 100 years old. I also wore some very simple pearl and diamond earrings which my mother bought for me as a gift for the day.
I wore a very chiusura, single-tier, long veil, handmade Etsy – it was perfect! I wore a pair of the ‘In seguito Pearl Tulle Bow’ wedding shoes, by Charlotte Mills.
My best friend and maid of honour, who is a florist, Minna Blooms, created me a beautiful fresh flower hair comb. My perfume was Tom Ford’s ‘Black Orchid’. I’ve worn it for years, and my husband and I both love it. I also carried a simple ivory pearl bag from Zara, that I’ve had for years.
The parents of the flower girls were told they could dress them per mezzo di any classic white dress, whatever they felt most comfortable per mezzo di.
It was the same for the page boys, a simple shorts and shirt combination which had the same classic neutral colour scheme was given, I wanted everyone to feel comfortable per mezzo di what they wore. My bridesmaids wore the Delphine dress from Ghost – I told the bridesmaids to wear any neutral shoes they wanted.

The Ceremony
My great friend sang ‘Stand by Me’ – Ben E. King, and the string quartet accompanied her. My wonderful friend Miranda conducted the whole ceremony. We had done the ‘legal’ ceremony a few weeks before per mezzo di London.
My sisters read The King’s Breakfast by A.A. Milne. It is one of my all-time favourite poems. It’s such fun and very lighthearted, which I wanted to incorporate into the ceremony.
Two of our flower girls read an extract from Winnie the Pooh, my favourite childhood book; “If ever there is tomorrow when we’sovrano not together… there is something you must always remember. You are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think. But the most important thing is, even if we’sovrano apart… I’ll always be with you.”
And as our final reading, my mother read ‘An Epithalamion, by Tony Kushner.
How They Met
We met through a mutual friend. We regularly discussed wanting to spend the rest of our lives together, and we owned a flat and dog together so it seemed a perfect next step to get married.
Simon proposed a dog walk per mezzo di our local common, we sat a bench which said ‘hope is everything’ and Simon got one knee whilst Ted (our dog) and said ‘I have something I’d like to ask you’.
I guessed what he was going to say and said ‘great, finally!’ and then he said ‘Hannah will you be my wife?’ Of course, I was absolutely delighted and said yes and then we carried our dog walk and got some coffees and brownies to celebrate whilst walking home.
We were only engaged for seven and a half months before we got married
Simon wore a suit from Favourbrook. He also wore some beautiful gold and mother-of-pearl cufflinks gifted to him by my grandparents. My best friend, and maid of honour, who is a florist – see Minna Blooms, created all my florals. Everything was stunning.
The Reception
My mother and maid of honour, a talented florist, created all the décor and styling, with the help of other family members. They did the most beautiful job!
Catering was provided by The French Kitchen and we had an M&S five-tier cheese cake. I don’t like cake, nor does Simon. We love cheese so we went with this and then all the guests could enjoy it as an evening snack.
My favourite sweet is homemade fudge, and Simon’s is little red fizzy pencils. So my mother handmade a huge batch of fudge, and we ordered lots of the pencil sweets online. We packaged them up into little boxes with cream ribbons and stickers we had made with our names and the wedding date.
We created all our stationery ourselves. I drew all the menus, order of the day, seating plans, and function sheets Canva and had them printed foam card and card for the place settings.
Words of Wedded Wisdom
Try not to get carried away with what everyone else’s wedding incorporated looked like. Your day is your own moment and doesn’t need to be like anyone else’s.
We had a very small guest list as we wanted something extremely intimate, which some people questioned and didn’t think would be so enjoyable, but we knew this was right for us and that was all that mattered.
We budgeted £25k, and that’s what we spent. We were very happy with this, as it would have been so easy to spend a lot more, but we did as many things as we could ourselves and within the family to save money.
